Οι At The Drive-In ήταν μια πειραματική punk βόμβα και ο παραπάνω δίσκος ο τελευταίος που κυκλοφόρησαν και ίσως και ο καλύτερος!
Σχηματίστηκαν το 1993 κάπου ανάμεσα στο El Paso και το Texas. Το relationship of the command είναι ένας δίσκος επίδειξη δύναμης! Με τις κιθάρες μπροστά να ξεχύνονται στην επίθεση και τον "υπερκινητικό" Cedric να δαγκώνει μικρόφωνα, νομίζω θα τεθείς και εσύ σε κατάσταση συναγερμού.. Όπως λέει και το τραγούδι των Αδιέξοδο, έτσι και οι Αt The Drive-In θα μπορούσαν να είναι soundtrack για οδομαχίες.
Το 2001 οι At The Drive-In ταξίδεψαν στην Αυστραλία για το festival Big Day Out. Kατά τη διάρκεια της συναυλίας ζήτησαν από τους θεατές να ηρεμήσουν και να ακολουθήσουν τους κανόνες ασφαλείας για τη δικιά τους ασφάλεια. Μετά την άρνηση του πλήθους, ο frontman,Cedric Bixler-Zavala, είπε στο πλήθος "You're a robot, you're a sheep!" και συνέχισε αρκετές φορές μέχρι η μπάντα να αποχωρήσει δέκα λεπτά πρίν την ολοκλήρωση του set, λέγοντας στο μικρόφωνο "I think it's a very, very sad day when the only way you can express yourself is through slam-dancing". Λίγα λεπτά αργότερα και καθώς στη σκηνή βρίσκονταν οι Limp Bizkit’s, η 15χρονη Jessica Anna Michalik πέθανε από ασφυξία. Λίγες μέρες αργότερα κατά τη διάρκεια παγκόσμιοας περιοδίας οι Αt The Drive-In διέλυσαν. Η υπερβολική δόξα, οι εξοντωτικές περιοδείες, κάποιες καλλιτεχνικές διαφωνίες αλλά και η εξάρτηση από τα ναρκωτικά των Rodriguez-Lopez και Bixler-Zavala's ήταν οι κυριότερες αιτίες που συνέβαλλαν στην διάλυση.Η μετά Αt The Drive-In εποχή βρήκε τους Bixler-Zavala και Rodriguez-Lopez στους The the mars volta ενώ τα υπόλοιπα μέλη Jim Ward, Paul Hinojos, και Tony Hajjar δημιούργησαν τους sparta.
